AFROFEST is the largest free African festival in North America.

It is made up of 5 main sections. Main Stage: Features performances by established artists. Youth stage: For young and amateur artists. In total about 40 musical performances happen at AFROFEST every year. Children’s Creative Village: This area is equipped with a changing station for nursing mothers. Here, young children learn various elementary elements of African culture. Activities include face painting, story telling, drumming lessons. Drum Zone: This is an interactive area at AFROFEST where drummers and dancers meet and create impromptu music and dance. AFROFEST Marketplace:

With over 80 vendors, the AFROFEST marketplace has food and merchandise vendors selling all manner of exotic food and products.
