For anyone visiting The Bentway, they may be surprised to learn that this urban corridor is home to many animals who roam its length. On any given day, you might see a lone red fox crossing or a chattering group of starlings, or catch a glimpse of a groundhog before it dashes underground. These are just a few of the many creatures who co-exist with the concrete. 

The Bentway Block Party is back! Join us on Sunday, August 13 for our annual signature event where performances, music, street food and drink, family-friendly activities and art workshops transform Strachan Gate into a festive site of summertime vibes, creative expression, and community celebration.

Enjoy an afternoon of local DJs curated by ISO Radio spinning sounds from near and far, pop-up performances, and artist-led workshops while experiencing our seasonal public art exhibits through guided site strolls. Meet us on the dancefloor for a fusion of live and electronic musical talents to take us into the night! Always free, all are welcome.
