Family Fest

Join Guild Festival Theatre in Scarborough’s most beautiful park for this 5-day celebration of young audiences and the young at heart! Featuring music, theatre, puppetry & circus, there’s something for everyone at Family Fest. Performances will happen throughout the day at the Greek Theatre mainstage. Acts include: Brick Bros. Circus by The Puppetmongers. This inventive play delights audiences of all ages, bringing the world of play, creativity and performance to life, brick by brick by brick.

Brick Bros. Circus is a complete, miniature one-ring circus, performed by highly trained building bricks in itty bitty costumes. See the acrobatic Bildovitch Family, the breathtaking Madame Brikaskova, the amazing Brick Contortionist and much much more!

Nagata Shachu, Taiko Drummers. Nagata Shachu, has become renowned for its exacting, physically demanding and energetic performances on the taiko, as well as for its diverse repertoire. Their playing is the combination of unbounded spirit and passion with the highest levels of musicianship and discipline. The Grand Salto Theatre.

Known for creating playful, physical and thought provoking performances that blend theatre, circus, clown, mask and dance, the Grand Salto Theatre will delight audiences of all ages!

Metis fiddler Alyssa Delbaere-Sawchuk explores a personal story of multi-generational lineage, family and musical influences centered in her Red River Métis lineage. Combining storytelling and music, these performances will keep toes tapping!

The Odin Quartet, Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra’s Ensemble-in-Residence, presents a delightful program of family friendly classical music and new arrangements of popular songs that will have everyone singing along!

In addition to performances, the festival will feature activities throughout the park including crafts, lessons, and interactive workshops. Family Fest is a fun-filled program for everyone from ages 3 to 103!
