Ensemble Jeng Yi leads the community group the Ironflower Drummers in this afternoon of Korean drumming at Lee Lifeson Art Park. This intimate urban park is located steps from a vibrant and multicultural strip of Yonge Street. The neighbourhood is formally known as “Willowdale”; but to many in the Korean diaspora, it is known as “Koreantown North”. The area also has many Persian and Chinese businesses and establishments; and is home to the Mel Lastman Square, North York Central Library, and the Gibson House Museum.
