The family-friendly event is hosted by renowned artist, Timaj Garad, and features musical, theatrical, and spoken word performances, arts-based workshops, live painting, a drumming circle, a full bazaar with vendors across the city, and a live panel discussion. The 3rd Annual LUMINOUS Fest will occur occur Saturday, August 8th between 12 – 8pm at Prairie Drive Park in Scarborough. We hope that through this festival, we can build and uplift community while enjoying some of the best art and entertainment this city has to offer! This event is open to all and intended as a space for community to gather as we amplify the voices of Black Muslims, honoring stories that heal, educate, inspire, and call us to build healthier communities.
