Summer Music In The Garden

Welcome to summer, live music and the lakeside Toronto Music Garden! Harbourfront Centre’s Summer Music in the Garden series returns with 18 free, live performances by artists from nearby and afar.
The 2023 season of Summer Music in the Garden is curated by Gregory Oh and Associate Curator, Rebecca Cuddy. Oh is an acclaimed Toronto-based pianist, conductor and curator with a passionate curiosity for music and its many genres. Métis multi-disciplinary artist and mezzo-soprano, Cuddy invites you to “let the winding path draw you ever closer to the sounds of our home, T’karonto.” Performers this year include:
Deantha Edmunds, National Youth Orchestra Of Canada, Tafelmusik, Moneka Arabic Jazz, Morgan Toney and Keith Mullins, Beau Dixon, The Musical Stage Company, Naghmeh Farahmand, Lori Cullen, Nick Fraser Quartet (featuring Tony Malaby), Aline Morales, Opus 8, ChromaDuo, Waleed Abdulhamid, Erika Raum and Family, Raging Asian Womxn Taiko Drummers, Brandi Disterheft and Hasheel.

Harbourfront’s Summer Music in the Garden concerts take place most Thursdays at 7 and Sundays at 4 at the Toronto Music Garden along the waterfront. On concert Thursdays at 5:30 and on most Wednesdays at 11 between June and September, follow a free tour of the Toronto Music Garden guided by volunteers from the Toronto Botanical Garden.
