Tender Possibilities

August 18 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)
Tender Possibilities is a poetry reading group and creative placemaking initiative. Led by diverse facilitators and poets, this series explores six themes—Origin, Memory, Migration & Movement, Resistance, Nature, and Rebirth—in a cycle that aligns between the summer solstice and autumn equinox. Each gathering offers a supportive and inclusive cultural experience that creates imaginative space for individuals to not only read and be exposed to poetry, but to also locate themselves within the poetry. Participants are encouraged to listen, reflect, and respond, resulting in deeper communal experiences and community building. Above all, Tender Possibilities aims to create a meditative environment, where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together, discuss poetry, and contribute to the collective growth and well-being of our neighbourhoods.
