Under the Stars: Birth of a Family
July 25 @ 7:00 pm - 11:30 pmFree
Come join the Regent Park Film Festival for our outdoor screening series, ‘Under the Stars’. This week, we are screening “The Birth of a Family”, a documentary by Canadian filmmaker, Tasha Hubbard. The film tells the story of four siblings, removed from their mother’s care in the infamous Sixties Scoop and adopted as infants by separate families across North America, meeting for the first time in this heartwarming documentary.
Under The Stars: Movies in The Park is a free outdoor summer screening series hosted by Regent Park Film Festival every Wednesday in July and August.
Regent Park is an accessible venue. If you have any questions regarding the accessibility of the park, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 416-599-7733.
Before sundown, join us for music and activities such as yoga, rugby drills, dance classes and more. Activities will vary each week and take place between 7-8:30pm before the film begins at sundown (around 9pm).
Closed captioning is available for all screenings.
Popcorn and refreshments will be available for sale and proceeds will go towards keeping our Annual Festival in November completely free. Bring a blanket and enjoy an evening under the stars!
