Founded in 2011, Christie Pits Film Festival brings high quality, diverse and accessible film programming to the residents of Toronto’s urban west end. CPFF is the signature project of local not-for-profit organization Toronto Outdoor Picture Show, dedicated to sharing quality outdoor cinema with Toronto communities. A staple of west-end Toronto’s cultural offerings, CPFF has seen over 25 000 patrons over its six-summer history. Now the city’s largest outdoor neighbourhood film festival, CPFF was recently heralded by The Globe and Mail as one of the essential summer events in Toronto, and named by Torontonians as NOW Magazine’s 1st runner-up for Best Free Community Event.
