Songwalks: Braiding Voices

June 10 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

In this outdoor immersive experience, the Amadeus Choir partners with Inuk singer and composer Deantha Edmunds to braid together the ancient tradition of Inuit throat-singing with early European music by Hildegard von Bingen and contemporary Indigenous music. Audiences will walk the paths beside the river and hear these contrasting musical styles in dialogue with one another, performed by the ~100 members of the Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto and guest soloists.
